Bryan C. Keathley, President, CBC
As president of Safe Harbor Benefits (SHB) and now an executive vice president at Higginbotham, Bryan continues to guide the vision and future of our team. That vision is client-focused to provide innovative and creative solutions for groups and individuals who need affordable insurance solutions. His passion for personalized insurance consulting and networking with other insurance professionals on behalf of clients was the driving force that started Safe Harbor Benefits in 1996. His energy and passion still guide the company today. Bryan’s entrepreneurial spirit, combined with a genuine interest in others, creates a united team attitude that will always be client focused.
Bryan’s expertise is in all areas of employee benefits, including group, voluntary retirement, life and executive benefits. He holds many licenses with the State of Texas to better ensure that SHB meets the specific agendas of each client. His licenses include Life & Health, Property & Casualty, Real Estate Broker, Series 6 & 7 Securities Licenses. He is a member of the Arlington Chamber of Commerce, the North Arlington Rotary Club, the Fort Worth Association of Health Underwriters and the National Association of Health Underwriters.
The Independent Insurance Agents of Texas (IIAT) appointed him to its statewide Life & Health Advisory Council for the 2014 to 2015 term. IIAT is the nation’s largest state association of Trusted Choice® agencies, representing approximately 16,000 insurance professionals. As a Council member, Bryan will help IIAT understand the challenges posed to agents and employers by the Affordable Care Act and devise ways IIAT can assist its members with navigating the regulations. He has also served on the Arlington Economic Development Advisory Committee.
Bryan resides in Arlington, Texas, with his wife and two children.

Beverly McCann, Personal Lines Property & Casualty Account Manager
Beverly McCann joined the team in June 2008, bringing with her a strong background in general agency management working with homeowners, dwelling, fire and farm/ranch policies. She has a Property & Casualty license from the State of Texas. She is passionate about taking care of her clients and regularly goes above and beyond to ensure they receive the highest level of customer service. Her professional expertise coupled with her natural nurturing manner makes new and established clients feel right at home with SHB. Beverly’s customer service skills are often called upon to assist our commercial P&C department. She also serves an invaluable role as SHB’s office manager.
Beverly continues to hone her expertise through continuing education and other professional classes, ensuring that our clients not only receive the best-in-class insurance coverage, but often save money while doing so. With Beverly, our clients know they have a true advocate with their best interest at heart.

Jennifer Wilson, Senior Account Manager
Jennifer came to SHB from its parent company in Fort Worth, Higginbotham, where she was a Large Group Account Manager for eight years. Before that, she worked for Lincoln Financial, quoting dental, life, short-term and long-term disability for employer groups throughout Texas. She is experienced in all facets of group benefits, including quoting new business, processing renewals, presenting at enrollment meetings and keeping up with changes in the Affordable Care Act. Jennifer has earned designations as a Small Group Specialist and a Certified Self Funding Professional. She is a member of Texas Association of Health Underwriters (TAHU) and National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU). Jennifer’s can-do attitude and seasoned expertise immediately instills confidence in our clients. They know Jennifer is highly capable and can cover all account management issues and challenges.
Jennifer enjoys driving old cars and has served in numerous capacities for the Fort Worth Model A Ford Club, currently serving as First Vice President.

Justin Godwin, Individual Account Manager
Justin, our individual account manager, also came to us from Higginbotham’s Fort Worth office, where he was an HR services specialist administering group life insurance policies. He holds a Life and Health license from the State of Texas. Now, he oversees our individual life and health policies, guiding our clients toward optimal plans that best match their needs in both benefits and price. He is also here to help our clients navigate the applications process. His quick and attentive approach make finding and purchasing the right policy an ease. When not assisting individual clients, he helps with managing enrollment and generating marketing materials for our group accounts.
